A Vienna blue-ground two-handled ecuelle, cover and stand, circa 1775-80

The blue ground with a gilt caillouté pattern reserved with panels, probably painted by Georg Lamprecht, depicting alternating scenes of putti and trophies emblematic of the arts on the stand, two panels with putti on the ecuelle and two with trophies on the cover, within floral cartouches in two tones of gilding with seeded and trellis scrollwork panels, gilt-edged scroll handles, the stand: 22.8cm diam.; the ecuelle: 19.5cm across handles, shield marks in underglaze-blue, impressed numerals 40 on the stand (probably for Joseph Tomasch) and 7 on the ecuelle (for Anton Fuchs) (very minor wear and some discolouration to gilding on stand, small retouched flat chip to rim of stand) (3)
