A Meissen figure of a boy with a cockerel, circa 1750

Wearing a yellow bicorn hat, a white jacket decorated with indianische Blumen and purple trousers, holding a chicken in one arm and a walking stick in the other, the base moulded with gilt-edged scrollwork and applied with leaves and flowers, 15.6cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to the rear of the base (some restoration to chicken)
