A Meissen figure of a hurdy-gurdy player from the large Cris de Paris series, circa 1745

Probably modelled by P. Reinicke, wearing a black hat, white coat, brown tunic and purple breeches, playing the hurdy-gurdy, 20.5cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to the rear of the base (restoration to extremities)
