A Meissen figure of a pheasant, circa 1745

Modelled by J.J. Kaendler, naturalistically coloured, its tail raised and perched on a tree stump applied with a leafy and berried branch, 17.5cm high, faint traces of crossed swords mark in blue (restoration to tail and beak)
