2 volumes. 4to. With engraved frontispiece, additional portrait of Cervantes, and 66 additional full page plates, woodcut initials and head and tail pieces. Full period mottled calf, gilt foliate borders, green and red labels to spines, spines lettered and decorated in gilt.
Provenance Geoffrey Ecroyd (bookplate).

Handsome illustrated edition of one of the favorite translations of Cervantes' masterpiece.
