A porcelain trumpet vase decorated in Chinese style

The porcelain vase with globular body and wide trumpet mouth, decorated in underglaze blue with a Chinese landscape with scholars, fishing boats, waterside dwellings, a flying crane, and distant mountains, all between bands of geometric and floral ornament above and below, signed on the base with a seal-style mark Bunsai

Footnotes

The Ogawa family started their kiln in Kyoto's Kiyomizu district in the late nineteenth century and are thought to have produced porcelain in this Chinese-inspired style until 1973.
