Tanba ware, Muromachi period (1333-1573), 16th century
Of symmetrical ovoid form finished with a straight neck and rolled lip, decorated on the surface of the shoulders with an incised comb pattern and a natural ash glaze showing vivid green where it pools on the shoulder and drips down one side, the lower body with darker patches
