Small 4to (189 x 214 mm). Color lithographs after posters by Lebedev, with titled tissue guards with text in English and French. Original orange wrappers with mounted illustration, modern red cloth folding box, title in black on spine. Tissue guard facing plate XXIII replaced in facsimile, wrappers repaired.

Lebedev's finest example of Russian Futurist bookmaking, featuring Futurist posters originally made for the show-windows of the Russian Telegraph Agency. This rare book was published with bilingual text to present the posters to the rest of the world. Lebedev was a Soviet painter, graphic artist, and member of the People's Artist of the RSFSR and the Academy of Arts of the USSR. He was one of the founders of the Petrograd Okna ROSTA, that created ca 500 Cubist and Futurist posters during the early 1920s. The introductory comments contain an advertisement for a second part, never published.
