Provenance: Captain Sidney Smith MFH (bookplate and pencilled presentation on upper cover, and presentation on the title page from Alex Tucker, New York); F.P. Williamson (bookplate).

FIRST EDITION OF THIS VERY RARE PROSPECTUS describing the proposed acquisition of a 28-square-mile tract of land in Sumner County along the Cumberland River in Tennessee for sporting purposes, Polo, Hunting Racing, and Breeding. The prospectus was sent out to potential investors for this new Sporting venue. This copy was sent to a Captain Smith, Master of Fox Hounds for the Lebanon Valley Hunt, Canaan, Connecticut, which he had founded with Gordon Cox in 1927. No copy had been seen by Frazier, and just the one copy is noted in auction records. Even Siegel only added it to his bibliography while it was in production.
