of convex rectangular form, cast in heavy relief depicting an infantryman, an artilleryman and cavalryman, two hooks and a belt loop to reverse
8 x 9.3 cm.

Footnotes

This buckle probably formed part of the uniform of a soldier in the elite brigade known as the Fauj-i-khas which was the first unit of Ranjit Singh's army to be dressed in European style uniforms and incorporated infantry, cavalry and artillery.
