Arabic manuscript on paper, 425 leaves, 10 lines to the page written in large and clear naskhi script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in red and black ink, red dots between verses, inner margins ruled in blue, red and gold, catchword, sura headings in red, illuminated double-page frontispiece and seven further double pages of illumination added later, colophon added in the outer margin of the last page gives the date shawwal 1003/June 1595, and the name Muhammad Darwish, patterned cloth binding
