A pair of Iznik style Porcelain Ewers
possibly by Samson, France, 19th Century

of pyriform with flaring necks and torus mouldings, on splayed feet with strap handles and tapering spouts, domed hinged lids with bud finials, decorated in raised-red, cobalt-blue, green and black outline on a white ground with cypresses flanked by prunus branches, saz leaves and roses to the bodies, the necks and spouts with other floral and vegetal motifs, one inscribed underglaze to the base 'à la Paix Paris', both with retailer's labels to base reading à la Paix 34 Ave de l'opera
