A Small Indian Gold-Damascened Dhal
19th Century

Of steel and of circular convex form, with applied gilt rim and four domed bosses, the outer surfaces decorated overall in gold koftgari with symmetrical designs of scrolling foliage in circular bands, the rim and bosses en suite, the interior with four rings for a bracer, and in fine condition
23 cm. diam.
