With turn-off cannon barrels, border engraved actions (one cock and one top jaw screw replaced) each signed on a foliate rococo scroll over each side, sliding trigger-guard safety-catches each engraved with a flower-head on the bow, figured rounded butts (one broken through and repaired) each swelling at the pommel and inlaid with silver wire scrollwork and rocailles (replaced at the repair), vacant silver escutcheons, and grotesque mask butt-caps (some wear and light pitting overall), Tower private proof marks (2)
