A Very Rare Cased 54-Bore Percussion Adams Patent Self-Cocking Five-Shot Revolver With Tranter Patent Double-Trigger

With blued octagonal sighted barrel signed in full along the top strap, serial numbered cylinder, border engraved frame, blued sprung safety-stop, arbor pin and catch, trigger-guard and stepped ovoidal butt-cap, patent double-trigger numbered '1053' on one side and '149' on the other, rare patent detachable rammer, chequered rounded grip, and much original blueing: in lined and fitted oak case with accessories including James Dixon & Sons powder-flask with split-ring for suspension and much original finish, brass bullet mould and other items, the interior of the lid with maker's yellow trade label, the exterior with circular vacant brass escutcheon, London proof marks
