A Cased Liège 50-Bore Percussion Adams Patent 1851 Model Double-Action Five-Shot Revolver

With blued octagonal sighted barrel signed along the top-strap, blued border engraved serial numbered cylinder and frame each stamped with licensee's crowned 'AD' marks, the latter stamped with 'Adams Patent 1851' mark on one side, blued rammer, arbor-pin with spring catch, blued trigger-guard and ovoidal butt-cap (both with loss of finish), the latter with ring for a lanyard, chequered figured rounded butt, and most of its original finish: in original lined and fitted oak case with accessories including brass-mounted powder-flask and blued bullet mould, the interior of the lid with licensee's yellow trade label, the exterior with circular vacant brass escutcheon, Liège proof
