The First By Robert Adams, 76 King William Street, London, Circa 1860, The Second Signed Calvert, Leeds, Early 19th Century, The Third Signed Edw.d, Weston, Lewes, Mid-19th Century

The first with octagonal sighted barrel signed in full along the top-strap, indistinctly serial numbered cylinder (old bruising) and border engraved frame, the latter with safety-stop, rammer of Kerr-type, arbor pin and screw catch, trigger-guard and ovoidal butt-cap, and chequered rounded butt (some pitting and reblueing overall), Birmingham proof marks; the second and third each of characteristic form, the first signed on one side and decorated with a martial trophy on the other, and with flat-sided butt (some pitting, top jaw and screw replaced), Birmingham proof marks; the third signed within an oval amid foliage over each side, folding trigger, and figured flat-sided butt with vacant white-metal escutcheon (some wear and rust patination, hammer-nose chipped, safety-catch missing), Birmingham proof marks; together with a reproduction powder-flask of revolver type with two spare adjustable nozzles, a brass-mounted powder-flask embossed with a scallop shell on each side (some dents, spring detached), and three shot-flasks (in poor condition) (8)
