With long russet sighted barrel with faint traces of signature along the top flat at the breech and stamped with later Indian arsenal mark along the left side, gold-lined touch-hole, grooved tang engraved with foliage, border engraved flat bevelled lock signed on a foliated scroll, foliate engraved cock, and steel (refaced) with roller acting against the steel-spring, later figured full stock (fore-stock mostly replaced) with chequered grip, the butt incorporating the original pierced and engraved silver butt-mount, plain steel trigger-guard with scrolled tang and pineapple-shaped finial, shield-shaped vacant silver escutcheon, turned ramrod-pipes (three replaced), and later horn-tipped wooden ramrod, Tower private proof marks
