The blade with three mekugi-ana, suguha hamon of nie, itame hada, mounted in shirasaya, fully leather-bound tsuka with shakudo ishime fuchi-kashira decorated with yano-ne in gold and silver, soft-metal yano-ne menuki, and iron sukashi tsuba pierced with yano-ne, in its black ishime lacquered saya with shakudo kojiri decorated en suite with the tsuka, complete with tsunagi
