A Cased 1862 Model Police Percussion Revolver
No. 13791 For 1862

With blued sighted barrel with New-York address, blued fluted cylinder, case-hardened frame stamped 'Colt's Patent' on the left side, case-hardened rammer, silvered brass trigger-guard and back-strap (some wear), varnished figured rounded grips, matching numbers, and much of its original finish: in original fitted oak case lined in green velvet with accessories including James Dixon & Sons flask with long nozzle and retaining much of its original finish, and steel bullet mould stamped 'Colt's Patent', the interior of the lid with Directions for Loading and Cleaning label (some narrow tears), the exterior with shaped vacant brass escutcheon, London proof marks
