A Cased Colt 1849 Model Pocket Percussion Revolver
No. 88067 For 1854

With blued octagonal sighted barrel with two line New York City address, blued cylinder with roll engraved stagecoach hold-up scene, case-hardened frame stamped 'Colts Patent' on the left side, rammer, silvered brass trigger-guard and back-strap (some loss of silvering), figured rounded grips (the right one with minor chip at the toe), matching numbers, and retaining much of its original dulled finish: in original mahogany case (exterior of the lid with minor slender splits and damaged at the left hinge) fitted and lined in burgundy velvet with some accessories including brass bullet and reproduction American eagle and crossed revolvers flask
