A Cased .32 Rim-Fire Smith & Wesson Model No. 1½ First Issue Revolver
No. 16035, Circa 1865-68

With octagonal sighted tip-up barrel stamped with manufacturer's details and patent dates along the sighting rib, and engraved with foliate scrollwork on both sides at the muzzle and breech, cylinder (loss of finish) and action decorated en suite, spur trigger, case-hardened hammer, butt engraved with a star and strapwork down the back, rounded ivory grips, and retaining most of its original silvering: in original mahogany case fitted and lined in burgundy velvet (minor damage where the hammer spur meets the inside of the case) and retaining its ammunition tray
