A .41 Rim-Fire National Arms Co. No. 2 Deringer
No. 8758, Circa 1865-70

With barrel pivoting down to the left for loading, stamped with manufacturer's details along the top flat, engraved with foliage either side of the nickel fore-sight and breech, and retaining faint traces of blueing, chequered release stud on the right, rounded action and bird's head butt, the former engraved with foliage against a punched ground on both sides, the latter with strapwork down the back, spur trigger (retaining pin replaced) and grooved hammer, and partly chequered figured rounded grips (some light wear and patination)
