A 28-Bore Flintlock 1801 Pattern Long Sea Service Pistol
Dated 1800

With plain barrel and tang, border engraved flat bevelled lock with 'GR' crowned and 'Tower' across the tail, border engraved ring-neck cock, figured full stock (some old bruising) with apron around the barrel tang and stamped with inspector's marks including those in the ramrod channel, dated Board of Ordnance ownership mark behind the tail of the lock, and with an 'S' on the tail of the side-flat, regulation brass mounts, steel belt hook, and later brass-tipped ramrod, King's proof marks
