Six Accessories Relating To Antique Firearms
First Quarter Of The 19th Century

Comprising two rare brass primers probably for sliding primers of Forsyth patent type, each of cylindrical form, the first of seven tubes revolving against a blued external stop and each delivering a measured charge to the threaded cone-shaped nozzle via a button cut-off acting against a blued external spring; the second of cylindrical form with similar nozzle acting against an internal spring; a rectangular brass plate threaded for three pairs for screws engraved respectively 'L' and 'R' (for left and right), three cup-shaped percussion nipples, and three conventional nipples; a turnscrew for flintlock pistols with swelling figured grip, and retaining its original brass pricker fitting over the tip of the blade; a T-shaped nipple-key with threaded brass caps for spare nipples, and detachable head for differing size nipples; and a steel mainspring clamp retaining some original finish (surface rust) (6)
