A Percussion Powder-Tester

Of box-lock pistol form, with foliate engraved action signed over both sides, large indicator wheel with sprung release catch and internal return spring, numbered from '0' to '30' and made in one with an anvil fitting against the muzzle, foliate scroll engraved trigger-guard, finely chequered figured rounded butt, and vacant silver escutcheon (some light pitting)
17.5 cm.
