A rare Worcester creamboat, circa 1753

Of oval fluted form supported on a quatrelobed foot, the angular handle with elaborately moulded terminals, the rococo-moulded panels painted in a mixture of a Chinese and kakiemon palette with a bird perched on a flowering branch, the reverse with flowers and insects, the interior with flowers and precious objects, 11.2cm long
