A Worcester creamboat, circa 1753-55

Of lobed oval form with an everted and lobed rim, the angular handle with a scrolled thumbrest, delicately moulded panels on either side painted in famille rose style with Chinese figures and flowering plants, panels of fine basketweave above the foot and below the rim, the interior with floral sprays, 10.3cm long
