A Worcester milk jug and cover and a coffee cup and saucer, circa 1775

Of fluted form, the jug of baluster shape, the cover with a flower finial, both the jug and cup with ear-shaped handles, brightly painted with 'fancy birds' amongst foliage beneath a border of green diaper gilt-edged panels and puce floral festoons, with gilded rims, jug 13cm high (4)
