The insect carved in high relief, resting on a branch of oak, a small cluster of three acorns at one end, in very dark umimatsu, signed Iwami-no-kuni no ju Kanman to (carved by Kanman, a resident of Iwami Province) with a kao. 8.4cm (3¼in).
