A crab resting on a piece of striated driftwood, signed Iwami-shu (Iwami-no-kuni) Enokawa Seiyodo Tomiharu kyonen gojuhassai shite kore o chokoku nari (carved at the age of fifty-eight by the Eno River in Iwami Province by Seiyodo Tomiharu). 8.9cm (3½in).
