A boxwood netsuke of a snail on a shiitake mushroom

The large snail slithering over a mushroom, its optic feelers extending over the cap, forming a compact composition in stained wood, the stalk of the mushroom forming the himotoshi, signed Soho sanjin Minko no zu (Hermit Soho, after Minko). 5.7cm (2¼in).
