A boxwood netsuke of a conch, awabi (abalone) and crab

By Kanmin, first half of the 19th century
A large conch with an abalone and crab crawling on either end of its shell, the legs of the crab undercut, bearing a good patina, signed Kanmin. 6.1cm (2½in).
