A Meissen small two-handled ecuelle, cover and stand, circa 1725-30

The ecuelle with ear-shaped handles, each side painted with a European estuary scene within a shaped gilt scrollwork cartouche filled with Böttger lustre and edged with iron-red and purple scrolls, the cover with landscape scenes within concentric iron-red circles, the stand decorated with indianische Blumen and insects, iron-red insects to the reverse, gilt scrollwork borders to the rims on cover and stand, ecuelle: 11.5cm across handles, crossed swords marks in blue enamel, gilt numeral 2., (tiny chip to underside edge of rim) (3)
