A very rare early Meissen octagonal sugar box and cover, circa 1722-23

Decorated in iron-red camaieu with a continuous forested landscape, the stepped cover with a similar landscape surrounded by a band of stylised flowerheads and a border of whorls, gilt rims, 11.5cm across, (very small chip to top of box rim) (2)
