A Meissen Hausmaler hexagonal tea canister and cover, circa 1725-30

Decorated in Augsburg in the Seuter workshop in gilding, with alternating panels of Chinoiserie figures on strapwork pediments and birds perched amidst branches, the cover with a wide band of gilding and a scrollwork motif on top, 9.8cm high (minor rubbing) (2)
