AVIATION ART.

A group of 6 etchings on aviation subjects, including two images of Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis, by G.C. Webb, one of a Ford trimotor by Wayne Davis, one entitled Wings in the Night by Inger Veise, one by Geoffrey Watson, all circa 1930's, together with a satirical political cartoon entitled "The Excursion of the Bought Nominations" depicting the Union League of New York as a hot-air balloon, and stating that "The balloon is managed by the Old Hunkers in the Ring," a reference to moderate Democrats in 1863 who favored the status quo on the issue of slavery. 204 x 134 mm to 275 x 430 mm, all but the last matted, but not framed. Some foxing.
