Portrait frontispiece, errata slip tipped in. Publisher's dark green cloth. Chipping to edges of covers, slight offsetting from frontispiece, foxing throughout.
Provenance: William G. Gerhard (bookplate, ownership inscription).
2. AMICK, M.L. History of Donaldson's Balloon Ascensions. Laughable Incidents, Frightful Accidents, Narrow Escapes. Cincinnati: Cincinnati News Company, 1875. 8vo. Contemporary half sheep and marbled boards. Most of spine chipped away, joints cracked, library markings, soiling and wear throughout.
