FROM THE LIBRARY OF HILARY KNIGHT.

A collection of approximately 70 influential books from the library of Hilary Knight, the majority in their original dust jackets, most being late 20th-century, good to fine.
Provenance: with either signed Hilary Knight bookplate or Katharine Sturges and Clayton Knight bookplate rubber-stamped "Collection of Hilary Knight."

Primarily books about the theater, movies, art, photography, and children's books that inspired him and that he inspired. Includes works by French illustrators Maurice Boutet de Monvel and Edmund Dulac who profoundly influenced Mr. Knight's style.
