Original aquatint, Elegante au parapluie, 560 x 470 mm, numbered 13/100 and signed in pencil lower right, framed.

Étienne Drian was a prominent fashion illustrator associated with Paul Poiret and movie director Sacha Guitry. He frequently contributed to La Gazette du bon ton and Harper's Bazaar. Among his many admirers was costume designer Edith Head and interior decorator Elsie de Wolf.
