A HILARY KNIGHT "IMPROVED" ELOISE DOLL.

A full-size Madam Alexander doll with multiple improvements made by the artist himself, including a new red grosgrain ribbon (not rayon satin), pearl buttons, satin suspender buttons provided to the artist by William Ivey Long, red soles for her shoes, and he has signed and dated her pink bloomers.

Includes a note from Eloise, "To My New New Owner," elaborating these changes of Mr. Knight and introducing both of them.
