According to Coleman Art, Corpus Christi, Texas, "In 1980, the first filly in 65 years and only the second in history won the Kentucky Derby - a significant historical event in the annals of Thoroughbred Racing." Her Finest Moment was "commissioned by owners, Mr. & Mrs. Bertram Firestone, [and] shows 'Genuine Risk' during her finest moment - standing proudly in the winners circle and draped over her shoulder - the traditional blanket of roses."1 Another example of this bronze is on permanent display at the National Museum of Racing in New York.
