An Engraved gilt brass strut timepiece with calendar in original presentation case

Signed Hunt & Roskell, London
Date: Mid 19th century
Movement: Shaped rectangular plates, going barrel, platform lever escapement with plain balance
Dial: Silvered, engraved with flowers and vines, roman chapter ring above perpetual month calendar with aperture for varied days of the week, blued fleur-de-lys hands
Case: Rectangular, with hinged suspension loop engraved with flowers and foliage over the sides with conforming decoration, the bezel engraved with flowering vines, raised on shaped feet bordering the rotating strut, the back with further folding support to allow the clock to be displayed at an angle and with shuttered aperture to view the escapement, square in base to adjust cylinder with days of week, with signed leather fitted case including double ended key

Size: 6 in (15.3 cm) high including suspension loop
