A fine engraved three‐color gold and patinated brass grande sonnerie quarter repeating carriage clock with calendar, moon phase and alarm
For the Spanish market
Date: Last quarter 19th century
Movement: With platform lever escapement, striking grande and petite sonnerie and quarter repeating on two gongs, alarm, selection lever labeled petite or grande campaneo / Silencio, in base, no.1532
Dial: Circular white enamel, roman chapters enclosing aperture for moon phase in the center, subsidiary dials for day, date and alarm, blued hands, within a mask with applied birds and flowers
Case: The corner pillars, handle and base with further applied varicolored bird and flower decoration
Size: 7 ¾ in (19.5cm) high
