A RARE BOURBOUZE-TYPE DOUBLE BEAM MAGNETIC ENGINE, circa 1865,

each beam has two magnetic coils working onto the beam ends, supported on turned gunmetal columns with connecting rods working disc cranks, central spoked flywheel. The magnet coils are energised by a "slide valve" driven by an eccentric, mahogany base on turned feet, 10¼in (26cm) high, 26in (66cm) wide
