AN EARLY PORTABLE HYDRAULIC PUMP BY BRAMAH, circa 1820,

a cast circular reservoir supports the main pump. The handle acts on a piston rod, guided by a forged frame with arched top. There is a Salter safety valve with a return to the reservoir. Cast iron trolley with steerable cast wheels, finished in grey, 43in (109.3cm) high, 41½in (105.5cm) long
