Pair of kakejiku (vertical hanging scrolls), ink and colours on silk in silk mounts, depicting spring and autumn flowers: on the right-hand scroll tanpopo (dandelions), sugina (field horsetails), sumire (violets), taisei (woad), and kemanso (bleeding heart); on the left-hand scroll aoi (mallow), hagi (bush clover), nogiku (aster), and fujibakama (thoroughwort); each signed Uge Doitsu hitsu (Brushed by Uge Doitsu) and sealed Doitsu gain (Painting seal of Doitsu); with a wood storage box. Overall: 187.5cm x 60cm (73¾in x 23 3/8in); image: 109cm x 41.3cm (42 7/8in x 16¼in). (3).
