The rounded body repoussé decorated with an overall chrysanthemum design, the spout in the form of a ho-o (phoenix), the handle composed of two tanchozuru (red-crested cranes) attached to applied blossoms, the cover surmounted with a chrysanthemum finial; signed on the base Konoike within a rectangular rounded reserve. 11.7cm (4 9/16in) high excluding handle.
