Finely decorated in enamels and gilt, the lower section depicting a flock of different species of birds including owls, eagles, cranes, geese, ducks, pheasants, kingfishers and egrets in flight beneath trailing branches of fern, the upper section with assorted bands of foliate and geometric motifs; the underside signed in gilt-enamel Kinkozan zo. 16.2cm (6 3/8in) high.
