With tapering double-edged blade (some rust patination overall) stamped 'SAHAGOM' within the narrow central fuller over each side of the forte, russet 'Irish' guard of rounded bars framing a saltire on each side incised with pairs of lines forming a cross, incised 'bow-tie' side-guards, slender fore-guards, later scrolled wrist-guard, fluted bun-shaped pommel, spirally-grooved fish skin-covered grip, and remains of leather liner, in its wood-lined tooled leather scabbard (old damage and repairs) with iron chape
